So … “God he couldn’t acclaimate the guy he knew with the man in the hospital bed,” is wrong in several ways.
Try “God, he couldn’t reconcile the guy he knew with the man in the bed.” Or “to the man in the bed.” There are other factors involved for that particular decision.
Proofreading, spell and grammar check, and punctuation are your friends. Proofreading what you have written is hard, but if you will charge for what you have written, hire a proofreader.
